Meetings with the authors and creators, RPG and NERD sessions, Cosplay competitions, a lot of workshops and Slavic music – that’s what took place at the weekend 12th-14th October in Lublin at Falkon Festival.
The 19th edition of this event was entitled “Rise of the Slavic Myths” and has turned into Lublin thousands of fantasy lovers in various age. There were a lot of attracions. For kids was prepared special Kid Zone and for ones who love activity there were e.g. springboards, swords battles and dance competitions. There were also a lot of art workshops and exhibitors.
ART, MUSIC AND TALKS
At the Falkon Arena took place for example self-defence workshops, dance shows and sword sparrings. At the main stage performed: Two Words Improv Theater, Ethnopolis, Ursa, 6BM and Żywiołak who gave us so much energy! Moreover, Gopniki Slav Squad was inciting people to the great fun and dance with the Slavic music. On the stage took place also Slavic Fashion Show by Barbara Domańska, Cosplay competition and song contest. The most attendance were at the meetings with Darwin Film Group, Tomasz Knapik and Ian R. MacLeod.

For the participants of the Falkon Festival was prepared special Games Room where every board games’ lovers can spend nice time. In addition, e.g. RPG sessions and meetings about mana&anime took place in the Primary School nr 20 behind Targi Lublin.
FESTIVAL OF THE CREATIVITY
Unusual clothes, people who are impersonating the characters from films, books and sport which they like the most were very inventive. Falkon turned into Lublin crowd of people who could be the participants of the “Rise of the Slavic Myths”!
