5 BNP Paribas Green Film Festival again in Krakow!

BNP Paribas Green Film Festival consists of seven open-air cinemas scattered around the most interesting points of Krakow. The festival will offer not only a few hundred hours of screenings, but also interesting workshops and discussions, revolving around themes important to the festival. The festival addresses the problems facing our planet.

Where can you have fun and educate at the same time this year? As every year, the highlight of the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival will be the Festival Village on the Vistula Boulevards, in the shadow of the Wawel Castle. What are the other locations? The festival will surprise audiences with cinemas on the beach, in the park, and even. . . On the main square!

As many as 76 productions from all over the world qualified for the festival. They will be presented in several thematic series, such as Green Lies, Greta‘s Generation, Slaves of Consumption, Lords of Food or Two Degrees to Hell.

We will also reveal some of the titles that will be talked about at the festival. Among them you can see the documentary “Watson” about Captain Paul Watson – the founder of Sea Shepherd organization. “Sisters of the River” directed by Cecylia Malik is a journey along the Vistula River, from its source to its mouth. The festival will also feature “Hope Dies Last” – a film by Jonathan L. Ramsey, the author of “You Can Panic“, about a group of young Polish activists.
