16. LGBT+ Film Festival is one the most famous movie festivals in Poland. It is also the biggest event in Central-eastern Europe, that represents the LGBT+ community. The main topic for most of the presented movies is life of the queer; struggles, love and acceptance.
Like in previous years, the festival will takie place in 9 polish cities- Warszawa, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Łódź, Poznań, Bytom, Szczecin, Konin. In Kraków the content will be presented in Kino pod Baranami (Rynek Główny 27)- an iconic place for cinematography and the people from Kraków. Movies will be presented from 11th of April until 17th of April 2025.
16. LGBT+ Film Festival is not only a representation of queer community, but it also debunks the myths about them. This year’s leitmotif is life struggles of LGBT+ people; from exclusion in public, to lack of acceptance in family and not wanting to admit their own sexuality.
