Loreena McKennitt at the One and Only Concert in Poland

The celebration of great music!

Over 20 years Loreena McKennitt’s career began at a kitchen table. It was turned into a desk and an independent mail-order record label, which works to get critical acclaim, multiple gold and platinum records, decorating millions of homes around the world.

So far, she has sold over 14 million albums. That catalog includes seven studio albums, three special albums, a DVD with a live concert, and two DVD documentaries. She has won two Junos Awards, Canada’s premier music award, and two GRAMMY® Award nominations. And you wouldn`t believe that she has performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It’s time for her to come to Poland for the third time. The concert will take place on the 25th of March, 2024, at NOSPR Hall in Katowice!

Loreena McKennitt associates with a harp and a sonorous voice. Her music is the quintessence of Irish folk and Celtic sounds set to electronic and orchestral music. These are associations with a magical series about a noble robber from Locksley, a wonderful piece embellishing a Hollywood production with Christopher Lambert as the immortal Connor MacLeod, endless expanses of the Green Island, mountains, the beauty of life, and poetry. All this can be found in her singing, music, voice, and band.

Multy-faced person

Loreena McKennitt creates, performs, and manages her label and her career. The musician is strongly involved in charity activities, providing financial support to cultural, ecological, historical, and social groups through her foundation. Through an established fund she supports education in the field of water safety, search and rescue activities.

For her humanitarian and artistic activities, Loreena McKennitt was showered with many important titles, diplomas, and awards.

The most important thing for us is that the Artist will visit Poland as part of her planned European tour. We’ll meet on one of the most beautiful Mondays of our lives: the 25th of March, 2024, in the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice. She will lead us with her music to the land of magic and emotions.

New Location and Even More Attractions – Cracow Comic Book Festival 2024

This year, the Crakow Comic Book Festival took place for the 13th time at the Studio Club at Witold Budryk 4 St. in Krakow. At this point, I would like to assure all superstitious people that it was not an unlucky edition. Exhibitions, vernissages, cosplay competition, workshops, and other attractions for the whole family, but above all, meetings with comic book creators! Photos, autographs, laughs, buzz, and of course all this around a countless amount of comics! The CCBF has

Something Bigger than Beer

Warsaw Beer Festival for the 17th time. Not only in music genres intertwine to create something new. Modern festivals are no longer monothematic. At Pol’and’Rock we have cosplay games, at the Wrocław Fantasy Days there are stands with craft breweries, and the Warsaw Beer Festival consistently develops something more than just a beer event. Although craft is still the main topic of the event, it is impossible to see how the organizers of this event focused on promoting crafts, handicrafts…

What Should You Know About Asian Culture? – Aicon 2024

Aicon 2024 -“Let’s party until dawn!” Everything associated with Asian culture can be found at this convention. Although humans are not, as a rule, a completely rational being, they value comfort and convenience. If you have ever participated in a costplay, you know what I mean. Even if the costume itself is not too heavy and bulky, elements such as imitations of swords, firearms, hems, tiaras, magic staffs, etc. are either heavy or fragile. This doesn’t pose any problem when
