First of all, just like during the previous edition, Mystic Festival will take place at the Gdańsk Shipyard on June 5-8, 2024. From bloody death metal to hit hard rock.

Satyricon, the icon of Norwegian black metal, Thy Art Is Murder searching for a new face of brutality, Lord Of The Lost, who combine glam and gothic, death metal institution Asphyx and riff masters from Orange Goblin – these are the first artists to confirm their participation in Mystic Festival 2024.

Satyricon

Today, they are respected classics who feel like at home at the Norwegian National Opera and enter into a fascinating dialogue with Edvard Munch, the precursor of expressionism. Yesterday they set the world on fire in the front row of the Norwegian black metal revolution, sending us such masterpieces as “The Shadowthrone”, “Nemesis Divina” and “Rebel Extravaganza” on behalf of the Mother of the North. Yesterday and today – Satyricon are masters of black art who need no introduction.

Thy Art Is Murder

Led by guitarist Sean Delander, a deathcore beast from Australia that has been causing destruction since 2006. Thy Art Is Murder’s latest, sixth album, titled “Godlike”, amazes with its perfect balance between the tradition of extreme music and modernity, combining brutality with technical advancement. Lord Of The Lost

It almost happened this year, in 2024 it will definitely happen. Lord Of The Lost play a modern marriage of glam rock and gothic metal, combining hit synthesizer parts, reminiscent of the best Depeche Mode albums, with the coldness of industrial rock and the overpowering metal weight. The latest album by the band from Hamburg has the significant title “Blood & Glitter” – and you can expect similar contrasts from the fantastic spectacle Lord Of The Lost.

Asphyx

Pioneers of the power of the Dutch school of death metal, where gloomy, almost doom-like weights harmonize with body-tearing riffs and the artillery of the rhythm section. And this voice, out of this world – Martin van Drunen is one of the best throats of the genre. From the debut “The Rack” (1991) to the three-decades-older “Necroceros”, Asphyx remains a guarantor of quality and faithfulness to the old school of bone crushing. We know perfectly well what to expect in Gdańsk and we can’t wait.

Orange Goblin

They only have such riffs and such a sound in England. Orange Goblin is the weight of the first Black Sabbath albums, the filthy boogie of Motörhead, the sound of classic heavy metal, the atmosphere of Hammer Film horror films and the London fog in which there is a deadly threat. Orange Goblin has nine fantastic albums and a tenth on the way! The successor to the excellent album “The Wolf Bites Back” is currently being created and we can expect it in the first half of 2024.
