Debut Edition of the Gliwice RPG Conference 2024

The event was organized by the ZMG League, which mainly organizes RPG sessions. This year’s edition of the conference took place in buildings belonging to the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Most of the lectures and workshops were held in the Student Center of Creativity. In the same building, at the entrance, there was also the so-called Chill Zone. During the lunch break, you could eat pizza there, and during the day, you could help yourself to other snacks and drinks prepared by the organizers. Everything was absolutely free! In addition, you could play an RPG session there, or just relax and take part in a discussion with other participants.

In the rooms of the Student Creativity Center, more intimate lectures and workshops were held. During such meetings, each participant could share their experiences with others, which created an incredibly friendly atmosphere. In such a format, each person of different levels of advancement could feel confident and learn something new. Are you interested in RPG sessions, but don’t know where to start? Are you a gamer, but want to try your hand at being a game master? Or would you like to improve your skills? Well, it was worth coming to Gliwice on August 31!

The event was divided into four rooms, where different forms of meetings were held. In addition to intimate lectures and workshops, the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation of the Silesian University of Technology also hosted lectures in the academic lecture format in the auditorium. This does not mean that there was a lack of interaction, because during and after the presentation the audience could ask questions. Due to the great oratory skills of the presenters, it resembled a TED Talk format, only with active audience interaction.
