JAZZ NAD ODRĄ – 60th edition
Beginning in 1964, this annual festival became one of the key jazz music events in Poland.
In April 2024, the 60th edition of one of the oldest jazz festivals in Poland – Jazz nad Odrą will be held. Most of the line-up consists of Polish performers, but there are also many guests from abroad. During the 58th edition of the festival (2022), such famous names in the jazz space performed as, among others: Jeremy Pelt, Immanuel Wilkins and Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (Christian Scott).
As in previous editions, last year’s Jazz nad Odrą, young musicians again competed in the Jazz Individuality competition. The lucky eight finalists were: Boogie Skiedrzyński, Brzeziński Quartet, Horntet, Katarzyna Osterczy, Krzysztof Baranowski Trio, Michał Ciesielski, Ola Przewoźniak Quintet and Superminimalism. The young musicians were assessed by a jury composed of: Darek Oleszkiewicz, Jeremy Pelt and Viktor Tóth.
April has been associated with jazz festival in Wrocław for many years, thanks to Jazz nad Odrą. We cordially invite you to a five-day music festival on April 23-28, 2024!
