Without a doubt, every festival is first and foremost about people. Not only the organizers, volunteers, sound engineers in the backstage area and artists on stage, without whom the whole event would not take place. But let’s not forget about the “icing on the cake”, which is the audience at every such event.

Chilling out

The diversity that the OFF Festival organizers offer in the line-up also has its reflection on the festival goers. At the entrance to the festival, which is not specifically dedicated to children, you can see parents with little ones, groups of young people, couples in love, and older people whose hearts still beat in a youthful rhythm. The greatest achievement of the event organizers is probably its global reach. It is here that you can meet new friends from almost every corner of our planet.

If you are looking for a festival that is friendly to everyone, then you definitely have to go to OFF Festival to feel this atmosphere at least once in your life. The air in the Valley of Three Ponds during the 3-day event almost dies to give listeners the opportunity to feel the incredible sounds of alternative music in their veins.

Musicians

During this year’s edition, over 60 music artists performed on 4 stages – T Tent mBank & Visa, Rossmann Forest Stage Czujesz Klimat?, Perlage Main Stage and BUH Experimental Stage. Most artists came from Poland and Great Britain, but there were also representatives of music scenes from Canada, Uganda, France, South Korea, Belgium, Ireland, Nigeria, Ukraine, Japan, Italy, Belarus, Mexico and the USA.

First Day OFF Festival 2023

The first to start the festival madness was “Aljas” and played, among others, songs from his latest EP “49 Groszy”. Halfway through his performance, the audience was in for a surprise when “Frank Warzywa”, who had his moment of fame during last year’s edition, appeared on stage. Then, on the Main Stage, Perlage sang “Ta Ukrainka”, presenting her songs from studio recordings, but at the end she also presented her latest song, which she plans to release. It is interesting that Anastazja, who hides behind this artistic pseudonym, regardless of the fact that she comes from Ukraine, sings and composes songs in Polish. At the same time, “Yann” performed on T Tent, playing, among others, one of his most famous songs “Między wierszami”.

A little later, you could admire the “RAT KRU” concert, which featured songs such as “Aleja Gwiazd” and “Cześć”. Then, as if from a completely different side of the festival grounds, in T Tent you could admire the incredible improvisation skills of the “Koń” band. And don’t let the word improvisation mislead you, because we are not dealing with jazz here. As the members of the “Koń” band themselves declare, they play in the psytrance acid blues style, which is the fruit of their own imagination. Also one of the most successful performances of the day was given by the members of the band “OFF!”, because they managed to warm up the crowds of fans in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, the concert of one of the headliners “Push T” can be considered unlucky. Absolutely not because he does not have loyal fans, but because of the sudden change in the schedule and moving his performance to an earlier hour, some did not make it in time to see their idol.

Day 2 OFF Festival 2023

At such an early hour, namely 3:30 PM, “Polski Piach” played on the BUH Experimental Stage. And immediately after them, on the Perlage Main Stage, the teenagers from “Sad Smiles” began their concert. Probably to the great surprise of their listeners, the young ones did not play any songs from their studio recordings. Only the freshest notes were played, including a song titled “Płuca palacza”. After the performance of “Sad Smiles”, during an interview, Filip and Szymon told us what was “on their minds” right now.

The next band that lit a fire in the hearts of festival goers was the Irish “Gurriers”. The band’s participants admitted that it was their first time playing in Poland, but they did not regret this decision. After 10 p.m., the organizers prepared an incredible surprise for the users of the “OFF Festival” application, sending a notification that Dawid Podsiadło would appear on the OFF stage. As it turned out later, the artist performed together with the band “Udary”. Next, to further heat up the atmosphere of the night, the next most anticipated headliner, “Slowdive”, performed.

Day 3 OFF Festival 2023

The weather before noon was doing everything in its power to deprive festival goers of the last day of the event. Fortunately, it brightened up a bit towards the evening, so there was no reason to cancel the performances. The only thing that could interfere with the fun was the mud, so rubber boots were worth their weight in gold. The three-day madness was summed up by performances by the futuristic producer Andrea Tirone under the pseudonym “Mind Enterprises” and the British “Joe unknown”, who successfully combines rum’n’bass, grime and punk with a poetic talent.
